Echo Spot is an all-new stylish Echo device that can show you things. Just ask to see the weather, watch news bulletins, set an alarm, play music, watch videos, check out your calendar, and more. Personalize your Spot with a collection of clock faces to suit your style or set your favorite photo as the background. Make video calls to anyone with an Echo Spot or the Alexa App. Echo Spot can hear you from across the room, even in noisy environments, or while playing music as it has four microphones that use beam-forming technology and enhanced noise cancellation. When you want to use Echo Spot, simply say the wake word “Alexa” and it responds instantly. If you have more than one Echo, Alexa responds intelligently from the Echo you’re closest to with ESP (Echo Spatial Perception).

You can make hands-free video calls to friends and family who have an Echo Spot or the Alexa App on supported smartphones. You can also make voice calls or send messages to anyone who has an Echo device or the Alexa app on supported smartphones . Enable “Drop In” in the Alexa app when you want to instantly connect with other Echo devices in your home, or your closest family and friends.
Alexa plays music from services like Amazon Prime Music, Saavn and TuneIn on your Echo Spot. Just ask for your favourite artist or song, or request a specific genre or mood. Prime members can access Amazon Prime Music and listen to their favourite playlist. You can also search for music by album, decade, or let Alexa pick the music for you.
With multi-room music, you can tell Alexa to play the same song throughout your whole home. Use the Alexa App to create groups with two or more Echo devices by naming the group, such as “my home.” Once you’ve created the group, simply say “Alexa, play Bhangra in my home.”
